From one village to many
The Catalunya village is a proof of concept. It proves that cooperative use-rights can replace speculative ownership. That bioceramic domes can pass European building codes. That a regenerative village can be financially self-sustaining. That governance by circle and DAO actually works in practice.
Once proven, the model replicates. The BioCoin Foundation endows a local land foundation in a new jurisdiction. That foundation grants surface rights to a new cooperative. The cooperative forms around a new community, in a new landscape — the Alentejo in Portugal, the Peloponnese in Greece, the mountains of Costa Rica.
Each village is locally governed and locally rooted. Each one is also part of a global network: connected through shared membership, shared governance, and a shared commitment to the idea that humans can organize themselves around flourishing rather than extraction.
The land belongs to the future, not to any individual.

The Happiness Foundation connects members across the entire network. Join as a Supporter (free) to follow the journey, or as a Backer (€25/month) to vote on governance proposals and shape how the network grows. When new villages open, Foundation members get priority.
SWEAT: contribution made visible
Every hour of work in the village — farming, cooking, teaching, building — earns SWEAT tokens. They're non-transferable: you can't buy them, sell them, or trade them. They represent your commitment to the community, visible to everyone in it. Five tiers: Seed, Sprout, Bloom, Canopy, Elder.
BioCoin: land stewardship made tangible
For centuries, the value of a living ecosystem — the carbon it sequesters, the biodiversity it holds, the water it filters — has been invisible to economics. BioCoin changes that.
Issued by the BioCoin Foundation in Liechtenstein, each token is backed by the measured ecological value of land under stewardship across the network. Rewilded forest, regenerative farmland, restored river corridors — the land itself becomes the reserve. BioCoin is not a speculative asset. It is a stake in a living system.
